2014 Easter Sunday Events in Mesa, Arizona
This Easter Sunday the Brewer-Lloyd Insurance Group of Mesa, Arizona hopes that you will enjoy the holiday with family and friends. Consider attending at least one of the following Easter themed events on the weekend of April 19th and 20th as a way to boost your spirits this springtime.
The world’s largest outdoor Easter pageant will be held daily through Easter weekend at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints’ Mesa Arizona Temple Visitors’ Center. Each night the show begins at 8 pm on a 5,600 square foot stage. The cast consists of 400 hundred people, and there are more than 1,000 pieces of costuming that go into the Easter themed performance.
At the Vistas Corporate Event Center at Las Sendas, Easter Brunch will take place April 20, 2014 from 10 am to 3 pm. On the menu are a pineapple spiral ham, beef tenderloin and a seafood selection of shrimp and crab. Bring your appetite to enjoy it all including the desserts. Reservations are required.
For those families searching for an Easter egg hunt, Rawhide Western Town and Steakhouse will host the Easter Egg-Stravaganza on April 20 from 11 am to 5 pm. Other activities at the hunt include a water balloon toss, duck walk and candy corral. “Cowboy Cottontail” will be on hand to take photos.
In addition to the Easter Egg-Stravaganza, there will also be an Easter Sunday brunch at Rawhide Western Town and Steakhouse. The food will be served from 10 am to 5 pm, and reservations are recommended. Anticipate such dishes as filet mignon, grilled seafood and comforting side dishes of potatoes and fried onions.
