Healthy New Year’s Resolutions For 2016

Healthy New Years Resolutions Mesa AZ

Make 2016 your healthiest year yet!

As the holidays come to an end, we look to the year ahead! Make your New Year’s resolutions for 2016 about keeping yourself healthy in the New Year! Resolve to be healthier in the New Year with these healthful New Year’s resolutions.

Change your mindset.

Far too many of us are too critical of ourselves and others, but where does that get us? A pessimistic outlook on life can be damaging to your health. Give yourself a break and strive to think positively in the New Year!

Eat well.

Rather than trying to lose weight in 2016, incorporate more fruits and veggies into your diet! Fad diets are a no no. They’re temporary fixes but aren’t sustainable. Healthy eating should be a lifestyle choice!

Cook more.

You’ll save money and be healthier! When you cook your food, you know exactly what you’re putting in it. It gives you more control so you can eat better!

Get organized.

When you’re organized you reduce stress! Get organized in the new year by clearing all the clutter in your life.

Move more.

Most of us spend our days sitting at a desk, but we weren’t designed to sit all day long! Make it a goal to sit less in the New Year. Invest in a standing desk, opt to take the stairs, or take a walk on your lunch break! The more you move the better you’ll feel!

Turn off the cell phone.

In our technology driven society, we are rarely without our electronics. Some of us even sleep with our cell phones in our bedrooms! All this information overload has been found to increase stress, risk for depression and anxiety, and has even increased our allergies. Make a resolution to unplug from the digital world more often!
